PB problem

When I tried to connect to a server with PB on, I got the message that I needed to update PB. I did that, and now I get in console the message: Critical Error: Cannot load H:/Spellen/Wolfenstein ET/pb/pbcls.dll

Can somebody help me?

Btw I have win98SE, if that matters.

pbcl.dll or pbcls.dll ?

If its the first backup your original and replace it with this one

Otherwise, download and run PBSetup (read instructions on page first)

Edit:
Or remove the pbcls.dll from your pb folder and start pbweb.exe again

If that doesnt work, empty your entire pb folder and run PBSetup again

Hmm, I think it is solved. I reinstalled ET, and back-upped the ETkey. Can play normal again.

i played et too under win98se so it shouldnt be an problem(because i love this os)

Yeah, I had no problems before, and I always played with win98se, so it was kinda strange. But it is solved now =)

*cut* I have the problem again. After what I ''googled'', I now know the problem is that pb doesn't support win98se anymore. Does this mean I can't play anymore?

mh maybe not on server whicg ahve pb enabled
(maybe you can try linux when you dont ahve an newer windows veriosn)

and please use edit next time(no double post)

Hard to believe that the standard client does not support win98 any longer.

They were probably talking about the new client released a couple of months ago;

Which runs as a seperate windows service and needs at least win2000

im not going to install linux

and if i used edit, nobody would have seen this topic.

i dont get the pbcls.dll thingy, but I just can't enable pb...
