PnkbustrA and B Coms faliure

Ok

On any punk buster server i go on i can connect but after a few mins i get kicked fro the reason like "pnkbustrB cant connect" or something.

Both procs are running fine. They are unblocked. I have just reupdated twice so that shoudlnt be a problem.

I just dont get why this si happening

This hasnt happened to me before

Anyone that knows anything that could help me please post here.

Installed another punkbuster supported game just recently?
Quake Wars for example?

Might be a slightly different pb version conflicting with ET.

dont know if it helps ... but cancel the 2 pb processes via taskmanager and connect on a PB supported server ... should work than ... if not enter in console: /pb_sv_enable ...

Tried that

Warren i did have the etqw beta on but i never installed the demo.
Also i never installed the PB for ETQW as i didnt play beta 2 as my gcard dies i just played B1
Cant think of any other games i have that have PB other than ET

Still need help

'/pb_sv_enable' is a server command, for clients its; /pb_cl_enable (or pb_cl_disable).

Download and run; pbsvc.exe

There is an option to test your connection within the program.
And you can also try do de-install and re-install the new services.

Yep warren i have done that too

And it says it can connect fine when i run the test :S

But not in game :idea:

iv tried disabling and enabling it and it didn't work :S

Any other ideas?

Ok i reinstalled ET and nothing happened.

Stormy i have no firewall other than one which PB is allowed on.

To begin with all was fine and i was on server for like 2 hours.
Then it died again
