place the original windows install cd on your computer then restart pc click on "press any key for run cd" or something then you can start format + install

k, assuming that there is a virus "in pb", take kaspersky or any other virus scanner with latest updates and it would be busted

I have Kaspersky 6.0 but it cant take it down.It said Stop or Skip.
and the virus is Unknow Driver Installer

Punkbuster itself is a compilation of folders and files, normally a virusscanner displays the file(s) (dll, executable, archive etc) that are infected.

So.. what is the infected file according to your scanner and where is it located?
When you play at PS2 what happens? Are you kicked? Can you even connect?

i can come in and then it throws me out of game and then kaspersky said there is a virus in PB

Copy your Kapersky log and post it here or make a screenshot of the warning, we cant help you if you dont provide all the necessary information.

theres no virus in PB
im suing kaspersky too and if i will get high security it turns off the pb on my comp
you must downgrade it to medium...

make following download et again and then install teh 2.60 patch then delete your old pb folder in that et version where the virus is found in pb then copy the new pb folder in there and start et mabye you need to enable pb again and then try to connect to ps2!
