One great anime : GITS (Ghost In The Shell).

Both films (a little bit of psychology, but really nice) and series (more action) are very nice.

A reference in anime world.

No, GITS is 2 long film
- Ghost in the Shell (1995),
- Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence (2004)

and 2 anime television series (2x26 episodes)
- Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex (2003)
- Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd Gig (2004)

and a third film, which is an AOV and follow the television series
- Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex Solid State Society (2006)

The 2 first films are very different from television series and AOV. I don't know i everyone will like it. But I'm personnally fan of GITS

-Full Metal Alchemist
-Trigun
-Hellsing
-Chrono crusade
-Cowboy Bebop
-Naruto
-Bleach
-Green Green TV

all were good, but FMA best i've seen. Though i didnt like the movie of FMA. Waited long for it, but when it was there i didnt liked it.

Theres Elfen Lied and Naruto you mentioned, then theres also Bleach and Cowboy Bebop which is old school but pretty amazing. Oh and Berserk also has some very cool elements. Those japs sure have creative (psychotic) minds but their work is brilliant

i like them too, especially Cowboy Bebop, it has a beautiful soundtrack...

My favourite manga are Saint Seiya and One Piece.
