Recommend Yawn

Hey Guys

My tip this week is for admins to download the yawn client program.
http://www.yawn.be/downloads.yawn
It is very useful and uses the in game command /yawn
This will only work on pb enabled servers though.

What it will do is get the pbguid's of all the players on the server using /pb_plist.
Then check them in the yawn database which also includes Pbbans and Psb

Thanks, very helpfull but it wont work

I registred already (olafer) and now i tried to register for game. I connected to ps6 tj arena and "capture guid" But then comes always the wanring:

Timeout during /guids command. COuld not retrieve etproguid of player -|PS|-BrAiNi^

damn. Can u help me?

Yeh its becausew of all of your colours

Just put a name like "oflar" then try again.
-|PS|-Braini with all colours is like ^7_|^2PS^g|-^bB^kr^ia^mn^id^li^v^

Also to get it to work on other servers not just etpro once you have registered e.t.c just change the echo interval to 1000.
Also i would set it looking @ etpro and pb guid. Works best.

Also it doesnt matter if when doing /yawn it comes up saying that it cant do /guids. That is normall. As only etpro has it

But the command should work.

One last thing i may not work on servers with more than 25 ppl on as PB doesnt give the whole pb_plist sometimes which is just anoying

putted name to ^7_|^2PS^g|-^bB^kr^ia^mn^id^li^v^ | minimized et, Capture guid, wont work, just apply, then i have only the pb guid. And when i press again apply it stops working

Yeh just try it witha simple nick to begin with.
I just used meep to make it capture mine.

Pity that YAWN is a windows-only client, I would use it to watch my server... Nevertheless this is really good prog which helps to wipe out those cheater scum from servers.

Yawn is writed with .NET platform try to run it with Mono 1.2.5 under Linux. If not workin' then w8 and check with new mono

In 2008 .NET platform will be opensource.

Spy thanks for the link, but this is a RCTW Yawn! It doesn't matter what I am doing with the yawn! binary, the effect still remains the same:

More info here. YAWn! client is a software, which adds new console command \yawn, this shows you info about players. You see this in game and you do not have to go YAWn! site. You can see f.e. something like this something like this. I banned this notorious cheater scum today [aimbot/wallhack] 6 kills with 14 headshots and 75%acc on etpro, impossible

YAWn! helps to prevent server from cheaters playing.
