Hello mates,
i need help because i need to play et at linux-ubuntu and i need to get xfire at ubuntu what must i do to get this two programs at ubuntu?

For ET, just go and download a linux installer (here is a good place)
For xfire...huh, is there a linux version of the program allready? If not, you can download a plugin for gaim (the new versions are called pidgin i think), this will allow you to chat with other players, nothing more (more details here)

Oh and btw, use search next time, there's a complete guide to ET on ubuntu install here

I deleted the installation of Xfire coz pidgin has bit more bugged installation, so my friend had to install it for me.

I can give U raw, complicated info how install, but im not very sure how U do it exactly.

The guide helps to install ET pretty well and U can always use MSN if not Xfire. Becides, Xfire version in pidgin doesnt have ingame chat.

ubuntu == default gnome desktop
kubuntu == default kde desktop

What golden is asking you is what version of ubuntu are you using (7.10 or 6.06)
