does someone know how to make skinpacks and/or soundpacks.
i wanna try this for PS.
i already know how to make maps.

Uhmm but how to make them, well just use your imagination.
Look at other stuff alot, and learn some photo/design techniques. (and of course lots of practice :wink:

)

I use photoshop to make my stuff, but there are free programs
around with sort of the same features.

First i start with a little idea/concept in my head, draw it out with
some pen and paper, and then start of with the basic shapes in photoshop.

Then apply some layer effects to achieve the realism like shadows,
glossiness, 3d etc.

And the last thing I use is some texture images to give it some older, rusty look (for this signature that is).

But I think u can find some tutorials about how to make skins for ET,
Its just a flat image (that looks pretty weird in 2d) thats rendered on top
of a 3d model.
