Filling and Changes in PS4

First of all:

Memnoch took an ET break for some months because he lost the fun on playing ET

lets hope he will find his way back to ET like i did after my break (some months ago)

Since he announced that in Adminforum and via pm, i didnt hear anything from him :/

so i saved memnochs PS4 version and reinstalled a new version of PS4 with my favourite etpub settings:

The skills of the players are the main factor of these settings. (less arty, airstrike, nade damage ...)

I dont know if it was before but: the server is - as only PS server - running sv_pure 0
that means the files in your etpub folder will be shown - so delete the pk3s you dont want (like skin packs, sound packs)
and admins, dont think you got a cheater only because you see strange skins on a pb screenshot

How to fill?

21 bots with weird names are running on a 6 standard map campaign ...
new players will probably not know that they are bots

removing bots / adding maps as soon we got enough regulars ...

same procedure like at PS5 + 3

Perfect Landser, but whats with my xps and levels?

Xps should be saved but the level file got too many levels in, so i will set you back if you want ... only pm me INGAME what level you got before and if you reinstalled your ET

Let this run for some weeks and visit PS4 regular and we will have a full Etpub 0.8.1 server

pls dont post here that you hate bots / standard map but theres no other way filling PS4 as fast as it will be this way :roll:

Hope see u soon in PS 4. Me and sebbel had a little conversation one night; How the players GET lvl because there is no PS4 admins for littlewhile, so anyone cant get closer to membership.

I understanded that landser meant that some players have too much levels so they can get normals back. i didnt see any how to get lvl. Please explain me.

That was my first ET server... But it was old PS#4... I think, new PS#4 is the same

no no ... not players got too high levels, but too many players got a level.
Because of that, the file where the levels are saved is filled ... and because of many people who got a level there are not playing anymore, so i decided to hand out the levels manually to users who still play who arent that much unfortunately :/

EDIT: btw, bodsio, the new PS is the old PS

i found a server.cfg which is 1 year old and ran at that time on PS4 when i was owner there ... so back to good old times

headshots count more than normal and body hits count less than normal ...

also the explosive damage is lower than normal

btw, currently you got there no hitsounds ... to fix that put the files from the folder in your etpub folder and remove the stuff you got in there:

Good work but all lose their lvl's

almost all Unreal has got his lvl
So ill write here im candidate, but when send 2u pm when u play at ps5 or when i will see u on ps4, cuz i didn't see u long time at ps4 x)

And....if u r a regular admin...what about turn off PB for a while in order to atract ppl (cheaters too i know) it could be good :?:
