I have a problem with custom resolution

ET allways starts up in 800x600 and i dont want that. I want it to start in 1440x900 because it looks good on my widescreen.

Ive put this in all the etconfig.cfg files in each of the mod folders.

Code: Select all: seta r_mode "-1" seta r_customwidth "1440" seta r_customheight "900"

And it still loads up in 800x600

The only way around this is to do r_mode -1 then vid_restart in the console.

Hum... strange.

Maybe load that on the autoexec.cfg in your etmain folder ? (I dont use "seta" in this one... )

Don't forget to set cg_fov to 100.39 if you want have a widescreen without fov deformation (90 on 4:3, 100.39 on 16:10 to have same "angle view" )

The problem was that in your profile in etmain/profiles/[Ferucious]/etconfig.cfg was setted to 800x600. ETMAIN profile is the first from all that is loaded.
