Connection Problems

A couple of days ago I tried to join PS servers but I got stuck in "awaiting challenge..." screen with the counter going on (1, 2, 3, 4, 5...) and lasting forever.
Also, it happens with several other server, not only with PS ones.
So, I never succeded to connect to PS severs and I rarely connect to other servers.
It's really frustrating

I read the issue in the FAQ and try to solve it updating PunkBuster, but did't get it yet.
Tried to disable PB as well: nothing changed.

I have ET with 2.60 and 2.60b.

Can you help me please?

Maybe (maybe) I got the solution
I run PBUpdate (downloaded from PB official site) and I secceded to connect to several servers, included PS!
By now I didn't face anymore the connection problem.


It could be useful to add this solution to the FAQ issue

You mean pbsetup?

How to manually update PB?

Go to the folder where your ET install is located, (normally something like; C:/Program Files/Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory). Open the folder called ‘pb’ and run the ‘pbweb.exe’ file. It will connect to the PB server and update your current PB, be patient cause it could take a while.

You could also update Punkbuster with the PBSetup program when you still receive outdated pb version error messages after you used pbweb.exe to update your punkbuster version.
