Ive seen loads of warnings for specs and afk (in-team players) for being afk. I was wondering why you guys just dont use g_inactivity en g_spectatorinactivity.

It will save the admins loads of time

what is that for thing? and by the way, you could ask or they will go at spec or join game, communication is the greatest power of humanity :wink:

it are 2 cvars which put inactive players (who are in a team) in spec after the given time (in seconds) and kicks inactive players if the server is full.

I dont rly get what you mean with "you could ask instead of control it yourself"... I am asking here to enable this cvar...

puty inactive players in game is good but kick when is full isnt necesarry i think it is better to say that they have to join

its bugged and kicks at once without putting someone at spec ..

reconnecting after this mostly affects an error message (something with wrong pk3) that u have restart to join server again...
can do it but will sure bring some whining of players who are 2 min afk ...

2 min = too short period for spec afk-players..
5 min = too long for ingame AFK-players

i only want to know what you can do with this codes. i understand that is is something to put people automaticly in spectator mode or kick. i dont knew that is what a code for puting people spec/kick after some time. And I think that is a good question because not everybody knows what that code is/was. thanx for saying that i make stupid post, i am posting here for fun and ginving my opinion about something and i think other people could respect that. so when i make stupid posts you could better pm me then saying here at the forum. thanx

thx for understanding but players cant use this cvars only admins can apply them in server settings i think.

I dont know about NQ, but ETpub has a flag which disables this.. I dont know if this allready exsited in 0.5.3 or else if NQ made s/t sortlike

what the solution is i think, to put only one cvar that one that put automatically people from the team into spec.
for the rest no cvar for a kick that can a admin decide i think.

hi,

it's normal to put spec the people that's are afk for long time (about 3 minutes) but sometimes there is also people that are doing "sightseeing" and they block a slot for someone that's want to play.

I know that is difficult to see this but it's a problem like players afk. Maybe I'm too radical but that's a fact.
