100% usage When i'm in ET

Now that terrible thing came true. My CPU use 100% when i play ET how i can fix it?? Ur have to help if u cant its time to stop playing ET :< kidding

I asked everything but dad didnt know what to do thats why ask for u this same question.

Mabey U just have a weak pc/CPU?
Else it can be that the process of ET is using full CPU but only 1 core, if u have dual/quad core.

i have only 1 core (2.41gHz) and ET uses about 99-89% and no problem. Only problem is that i have too small RAM (or was it ROM... aahhh nevermind).
So maybe your problem is all about bad connection or wrong settings?
I don't really know nothing about computers, but maybe you can tell more about what happens when ET uses all your processor capasity. And i think you should check if there is some useless programs running backround. But anyway hope you can solve the problam and keep on playing

I have played always with same settings and i have rly good connection and i have rly good computer 2 but that is rly strange if i had no probs about 1 week ago :/

times ago i had prob that et crashed completely down after 10 min playing and later it was just the prob i had to clean up the pc, because it was completely dusty and dirty inside, cpu wasnt cooled enough anymore...

Ahh we installed new software about 1 year ago or was it 1 and half. That version was 3.0 yes its 3.0 but 1 thing...

When that uses 100% then it takes memory about 650M but when i set fastest settings then it takes about 576M but it still make my mouse and keyboard lag :/

Maaan maybe the reason why noone replies is because noone knows how to solve the problem??
There's no reason to be such ashamed for this...anyway try this: download Spyware Doctor (it's free) And check for viruses/infections/spywares etc.etc.
Those things makes your pc run very slow.

if you look at your PC information, (i see 224 mb) then you maybe see you're (might be 512, or even more). if its like me (224mb) then you lagg annoying hard, just ask you're dad to buy a new card for it. (so i try to ask my dad ;D)

if you have windows:
Open start menu => run =>type: msinfo32
it opens system information window where you can see your memory (Total Physical Memory)

ughh.... my magic pocket is empty

only stoopid idea what i can get, is clean your PC inside, and i don't mean any stupid software. I mean that you open your computer and take all dust away (allways better to ask someone to help if you don't know how to do this). This can help but i don't really think so... better to try everything

EDIT:
And remember to take power line away from contact box before doing this

- Did you check your other processes?
- Did you check for spyware/adware? (run: spybot:s&d, spysweeper, adaware or Windows Defender)
- Did you check for virusses? (run: Trend Micro, Kapersky, mcafee online)
- Did you try to defrag (defragmentate) your pc?
- Use CCleaner to remove the last crap and check your registry

You guys are talking about a new OS while there are so much things you can and need to check..
