hello guys,
i know ps monster is very busy with his job and stuff, but i think its weird that no-one takes over his 'duties' as a server owner, with that i mean the managing of admin lvls. i have posted a topic about beiing demoted, and there hasnt been any reaction to it from monster, and what i understand of it is that none of the high admins is assigning lvls anymore. of what i understand of it is that a regular player gets a lvl every month (?) if they behave themselves as a mature and honest player (and doesnt brak the rules of course). (correct me if im wrong, but arent these the policies?) so im wondering when and what there will be done about the problems.

server 2 need at least 1 active server owner so 1 monster maby 1 time a year visit ps2

Hum... really, no. Yes, you can "win" lvl if you are a regular player with nice behave, but the "time" between each lvl is a mix between lot of factor (see rulebook) + a little bit random factor...

But anyway, you must learn to play for fun, and not for lvl. I'm personally a PS1 regular, and played it long time, even when there were some Mod change (etpub -> nq -> jaymod -> etpub again (?) -> nq), and some "loose of players" because of this or no admin around. I had fun, and that was essential

(etpub was really good time.. hum ... ) :wink:

After some month (but more than 8x1 month hehe :twisted:

) I became a PS member. So, just have fun with other players, that should be imho the #1 rule of rulebook

i don't know anyone who plays for levels. everyone plays for fun, because how can anyone play for something and not having a fun time. personally i couldn't play for levels, bec its just so boring to do something when ur not having fun. but getting a level inspires players more.

And i say that i dont play for lvls. Lvls are just part of ET admins give lvls when u follow rules and play for fun.

i liked to get lvls

that i could do !listplayers etc...
atm im 0...and i have played in PS about 3month...
but i dont play for lvls i play for fun...

5% lvls
10% sl rating
85% FUN!!!

no spyhawk you get me wrong: i dont play for lvls, but lvls are a useful tool to perform usefull actions like spec999 if there are 3 players still connecting after 5 min.

and also it annoys the hell out of me when there are some rule-breakers on the server and i cant do anything about it except hoping an admin is on xfire...
with higher lvls you can at least get more of a 'bite' (but prob not as 'just' a regular)

There will be some changes soon, it's just a very busy time for some of us (school, work, finishing studies etc.).

And no, a regular player does not receive a level every month cause of some policy. Levels are assigned to those who earn it and are willing to 'work' for it (see FAQ as well). Time is one of the least important factors in it.

Your lost adminlevel is somewhat of a sad situation, do you know who setleveled you back then? The logs dont go back that far unfortunately.

Omg, We ps2 regulars don't need a owner for levels only. This server is in control only because of regulars not because a owner. There are ps2 members, but not always. I got 7 Ps members if i call one they still cant come always and the rulebreak keeps rulebreaking. It's very annoying like a teammate who is waiting for you on your spwan to teamkill you. I just think we need a active owner for rulebreaking, change maps ( they are getting bored ) get old headshot sound back and lots of other stuff!
A server without a owner is chaos. Only the regulars keep the peace...
If you know me then you know that i try to do that aswell...
I hope that the PS HA's listen to me and give us a new owner.

hehe was waiting for this topic ^^.
since we talked alot of it on ps2 we already tried to get owners for ps2
but every HA is busy with like warren said , work school other things
so it will be hard to get a new owner with a good attitude, activity and who wants it.
that's the problem else we could just pick a random player.

the reason why ps2 still has people on it is because of the regulars
without them ps2 will be nothing (just like every other server but you know what i mean xD)
always when i come there there are only people i always see in ps2

i think some1 like nemesis would be great to have back
i know soul won't do it (already asked it xD)
or maybe warren :twisted:

Map change = good idea, if someone just change them (atleast within 2 months or ... ? )

Server owner should be online like one time a week and check things, (maybe set lvls to give some ppl "power", not required indeed, beacuse some lvl 4's like -ojosdebrujo- he does TJ and is lvl 4 admin.. and tk when he is ?bored? -> its example not i got more, but this was the one came up in my "small brain

")

With this we d better play ET without lvls, and maybe without rules because its WAR (still i like some rules, because if i die by sk theres a reason

)

I think that we need a extra server owner don't metter who.
So that he/she can change the map rotation and kick some rulebreukers.

p.s. SK withote a PS admin online
have told Goldenbullet about it only the SK-stopt so he dot not have to come online.

Well, nothing's changed. Monster is AFK but he's still and will stay PS2 owner. I just made a new rotation cause we saw that you were fed up with the old one

but that doesnt fix the main prob, that there are a lot of rule-breakers on the servers, and the regulars cant do anything about it. its not to whine or smthing, but it annoys the hell out of me, that when i play on ps 5 for example there are less rulebreakers. (however i only play there when ps2 is empty...)

and it doesnt matter how much regulars you've got, as long as no-one has any way of enforcing rules, there WILL be rule-breaking...

Some part is totely tru but.
You can always call a PS admin by x-fire or go to a athor server and ask tham to come to PS2 to solf the problem.

About lost Levels, when i played on "RePro<o/" nickame i was level 1 (about 20 000xp), then since 1 or 2 month i'm just level 0, i play on BillaBam<3 nickame.

The admin who put me level 1 was Buu PL or Goldenbullet (i believe).

What i should do ?
