Name reffered to as "ETplayer"

Hi There, some of you may know my Avatar in ET (also conviently named Kyrillion) for a while now.

Ok so here's the problem, today i Reinstalled Enemy territory becouse i was cleaning up the computer, and decided that i didn't need all .PK3 files, and couldn't be bothered to delete them manually;
This however coused that my nickname (kyrillion) now only shows up as "ETplayer" on basically any server, I dont really mind losing "9" levels in engineering and the light weapons / battle sense and such,
but it's Really annoying to see that my name has for some reason defected.

after browsing your forums for a bit hoping for an awnser i found none, so here it is, if any of you know how this can be fixed, i'd be much obliged.

that is easy to fix...

first way:
go to ET ->go to server ->when you are in server press L and change your name there where read ETPlayer...

second way: (if first don't work...)
go to ET ->go to server ->press "esc" and go options and there some of those there you can see namebox where read ETPlayer change that to your own...

(and when deleting ET ppl should save them etkey

)

U should have at least kept ur config

U will have the default name as u start playing on a new mod that u havent "connfed" before. The default name is usually ETplayer.

ETkey has no part of this thing. It only saves levels and XP and possibly aka in !listplayers, but no name.

Methods to change name are shown above.

Have you tried simply to set again your nick from the game menÃ¹?
Open ET then Options->Game->Player Alias...

i have tried resetting my name in the usual way, but i havent tried hte other methods yet, lets hope they'll work.

maybe u deleted profile? in that case make new one. delete all profiles and start game in lan or in non pb servs. and then there should pop out the profile settings window where u can edit ur name and other stuff.
