Demo Problems :x

Hello ervy1,

i have some problems with my demo's, i can record them, play them.
But they are not normal, they are in some sort of christmas style and the sounds are like everything is from plastic. Does someone know the name of this pk3.file( dont rlly know if its a pk3. prob), where i could find that pk3.? i seriuously need help, cause my demo's look like crap :lol:

Yep its a pk3 problem.

With what mod are you watching those demos, NQ?
Open the mod folder (NQ, ETPub etc.) and check for files starting with x_ or xx_ or zz_

f.e. zz_xmasmod.pk3

Delete them or move them to a temporary folder and see if it helped.

Warren tnx for help so far,
i saw the z_xmas files and deleted them. but now they all look like deers and smthng :S
but my question is : should i also delete files that start with zz_, zzz_.
Caus eone file is called zz_nqmod?
should i delet that too?

Hmm, a zz_nqmod is not an official part of the NQ mod as far as i can remember.

Just create a new folder in the NQ folder and move the pk3's you think can be removed in there (everything starting with x_ or z_ for starters). You can do this 1 pk3 at a time and startup ET and check after you moved 1 file. Just continue until the unwanted stuff won't show up anymore

Yea, i had the same prob but i deleted all unneeded pk3 files

sry for open this toic again ..

i have ask : i have normal skin pack ...but if i record/or watch demo always have X-mas pack in demo :S i must delete this file
