With updating you mean using pbweb.exe?
Could you perhaps post some sceenies of these kick messages.
Make sure you close other programs and check your firewall settings if you havent done so.

oops! sorry for posting in wrong forum, i am at work at the moment but last night i realised i had pnkbstrA but not pnkbstrB, so i downloaded it and not sure how it has affected my games on PS#2 (as that was the server i was being booted off), but i quickly jumped into PS#4 and it was fine, no booting.
But obviously PS#2 runs nq and PS#4 runs etpub so not sure if that affects it.
However, i will test it tonight when i get back from work and if it continues i will be sure to get some screenies of those messages and post them here.
Cheers

They will be installed both when you install the new pb client: pbsvc.
PnkBstrB.exe will be started when you startup a pb supported game (like ET) and closed after you close the game, so that might explain why you didnt see the process running.

Just download & startup the program, there is a function in there that allows you to check the connection to the pb servers without installing anything
If everything is 'ok' you dont need to (re)install anything.

But yep, we all know that pb can be a complete Ass from time to time for no specific reason..

Same thing happens in pbsvc or ingame?
Note that the 'test services' function in pbsvc is just a connection check it doesnt actually change anything. Is everything green in there?
I would also check your firewall settings, give pnkbstrA.exe, pnkbstrB.exe and ET.exe full access.
