You bought wrong HDD, samsung spinpoint T166 320GB is faster because of less platters and cheaper.
About your PSU:
As far as I know you bought a cheap one. A PSU is really important for your pc, but I could be wrong because we don't have that brand in Holland. Next time buy one from FSP. Enermax, OCZ, Gigabyte, CoolerMaster.
About your mainboard:
Also an unknown brand. Next time buy one from Asus, MSI, ABIT, Gigabyte.
Further you've got a nice PC. I also have got an E8400 since 2 weeks. I also have 4GB ram, Samsung Spinpoint T166 320GB, 520Watt CoolerMaster PSU, ASUS P5E.

I wasn't talking about the case. The CoolerMaster Stacker 832 is better than the cosmos. The cosmos has got a better airflow but that's it. The build quality is a bit more less.
