Why is PS#2 so empty at the moment ?

That's right, PS1 and 5 are almost full during the day. Some PS2 players leave PS2 for other PS servers.

I dont know about u, but maybe its time and take a look in the differences of PS#1 and PS#2:

- on PS#1 u can pick any weapon u find, no matter what class, PS#2 not.
- PS#1 many stamina-only adresticks, PS#2 1 damage+stamina boost adre/spawn.
- PS#1 no PB, PS#2 PB.

yes PS#5 has PB and is doing well but I think one problem might be PB. I remember well those days when my PB was broken and I couldnt play on servers I would have liked.

But its completely up to owners/mods what settings they have. MAybe keep PS#2 as a bit different one, maybe this is just a unlucky empty moment on PS#2 like PS#1 had a while ago. But I hope this will get better.

Well 2 mean reasons imo.

1st : no active owner there

2nd : no regulars admin/members playing on PS2.

Players go on servers where members/admins play. It's as simple as this. Cause when I play there at least 10 ppl connect within the next 10 mins.

Btw I'm still in holidays atm. I'll try to be more active there when I come back. :wink:

PS#2 is emty becouse I have been banned there !
and unbans would be nice becouse i will lose my 130k xp if i wont get unban soon ;:S

I play only if there is more ppl than only 5 ppl, but hey that will be fun too if ther is 5 players xD dunno maybe i just should go there and play alone xD when its empty :rofl:

Ps2 is my Home and sure i will be more active on Ps2

But we need more member on all server, not only on Ps 1

i can only agree him its nearly same as in ps3 but there we have no pb too but the problem is too i think that we have summer atm and the weather is good( too good

) so many players prefer going out of the house and not playing et

atm i don't play so much et anymore but when i play i play on ps3 to help to save it(its going up slowly;but as u like to say: things that need more time to grow(especially server) produce at the end a better result) if its running again nicely i will try to help at ps2 too(atm i play as i sayed only on ps3)

and anyways i wish you good luck that you manage it

ps#2 used to be the more skilled server, i was a reg there too but it got empty and indeed the server owner aint online very much. also the settings of ps#5 are much more fun in my opinion, especially the multiclass weapon pickup is a bonus... maybe there should be a reconsideration of the settings / rules of ps#2

Why cant there be some another server ovner while monster is away?
And when monster gets back (if he gets back) he can be serverowner again?

I would play there too if theres server owner and more group.

yes i think too that we need more admins or members some people who play often and make the start .... when 4 players or so play on ps2 then other come to and it get more... but often only 1 or 2 play there and new player come and see only 1 or 2 and disconnect to ps 1 or 5 because it boring to wait that more come

Well I'm a PS 1 player and sometimes PS 5 as u say thats where the most people are.

But It's not just about how many people are there but it's also what maps.

Like PS 1 is my home from the beginning, sometimes when it was full I was redirected to ps 2 that's was the only reason why i've ever played there.
And PS 5 I mostly just play when I see the map baserace dessert there Just because it's my favourite map I play at the server.

like someone said above - PS2 had his bad time same as PS1 some time ago (meanwhile PS2 was full almost all time)
Rebuild of PS1 was done cuz of change some serv settings and yes, it' true - this serv need more HA/members
So my solution - change settings to be more atractive for new players - FF off, whole HW unlocked , PB off etc.

There not more attractive when PB is off, its merely the fact that PB is shite and is often causin ppl problems. WIthout PB no1 has a problem connectin therefore we wouldnt loose ppl connectin due to a PB problem. Funny thing about this tho... No PB = LOTS of hackers.... currently at PS2, we have like zero admin so... No PB + no admin = LOTs of hackers not gettin banned. So maybe turnin PB off wouldnt be the best idea till theres some admin there.

Personally i think PS2 needs a server owner (PS2 was havin some bad times not long ago, soul n ichi took over PS2 and in about 2weeks it was doin well) The fact that monster barely looks after the server is a big problem 2 me. I personally like 2 see my opinions on server settins etc read and heeded, as im sure every1 else does. The problem is with monster afk no1 is readin the opinions of those at PS2, and well that gets tiresome. I got sick of adminnin PS2 simply cos as 1 of the only admin there regulary, i got a tad sick n tired of the lack of support given 2 me by the server owner.

I wonder how long the campaigns been runnin, how long since the settins were changed, cos theres no info for PS2 players anywhere on the forums as 2 wat is happenin there. N well whilst i luv monster n think hes a good server owner, we need an active server owner who can ressurect PS2 by listenin to what the regulars of PS2 want. ATM their opinions fall on empty ears which could be why many have moved to other PS servers.

FF off + HW = n4p heavy wars? no thanks :/ PB should be on, cuz as u said, there arent many admins playin on PS2, if any haxer come, pb should ban him, if no pb- haxer will be owning players without punish...
IMO- panza, mortar, venom, flamer should be allowed as 1 per team, FF on and PB on.

but there is one thing i dont really understand:
if it is known to the (high) admins of the ps community that the owner of ps#2 is a very busy man who's got something else to do, why cant ps point out a temporary replacement who has the rcon password, and thus can change all the settings required (or has the required adminlvls to change all the settings if neccisary)
i used to be a reg on ps#2 but indeed server settings on ps#5 is more fun to me (and the amount of players does help...)

i really hope there will be done something about it since it is 'killing' the server.

souly has been this "temporary replacement" but now he is at holiday or something

but i came here to tell my(not really mine, stolen from ps1) how about easyer XP gaining? like you got lvl 4 medic in same time as you normally got lvl 1. because many people play because of XP, this would be nicer to new players. but ofc only if it is possible

Ahh guys i remember days when ps2 was always full. Beautiful times, but now... i just wanna say what the fak!? xD Players! we should do everything what we can to revive PS2 so lets play more on this great server! More players online = more players overall. And yes every one server need his owner online sometimes. Idk where is monster but i think if he wanna be good owner he should get back...
