Agreed, Medics Dont Have to Pwn Every1, There MUST be a weak Spot for medic, And That is Solider Class... So NO REMOVE AND NO LOWERING DAMAGE, Maeby Slower Recharge...

Just make the rifle the same as in ps5...In Ps1 U Die Quickly By Rifle nade But Not in ps5...

I Only agree with that slower Recharge time on the Rifles so you cant shoot them in quick sessions,
and if you LOWER the damage it would NOT kill a MEDIC in 1 grenade Shot and then the MEDIC has 1 less thing to fear :)

But we Must not forget the the Rifle CAN Shoot Bullets TO!!!
So if you lower the power you can keep or higher the power of the Bullets.....maybe.....

Ja and that s the problem. About what we are talkin now PF or riflenades? About Panzer, i ve already said what i think about , noway to remove it from PS1 and i think it s pretty even in its actual config, sure i can change the recharge time but then have to raise the speed and i m pretty sure that i will have some others request about speed etc ...


Now about the rifle, what i can do is to only allowed 2 rifles instead of 3 (will think about), but honestly we have 1 mortar+1 PF (with low speed and pretty easy to scape in most of cases)+ 3 nades launcher (can take it like some kind of heavy weapon :wink: ) per team, is it realy so much to handle? if you want a server with only light weapons and rambo medics, my answer will be clearly NO. I try to have an even power between each class, it s pretty hard but well lookin to how the server works this past few weeks, i think i m not so far to have it. In the other hand, as i said few times in the past, the goal is not to have 4 PS NQ servers with exactly same settings, each server have his own specifities and give a large choice panel to all palyers, just test them and choose the one you prefer, maybe some will leave PS1 to other PS servers but as long as they stay in our servers, i will be enjoyed and staisfied :).

is it possible to slow down the time it takes to put a nade on a rifle, cause when you lower the recharge time of an engi it would also affect the dyno planting, mines and constructing abilities of an engi with a smg or shotgun and we wouldnt want that doe we?

Hello,

You're right nick, it vote for lower damage - rifle nades are nothing more than normal nades but shoot with rifle.

About panzerfaust - current speed/recharge time is a lil funny - it results in many rockets flying around like if they were birds, instead I (at least) would like a much longer recharge (so I can fight with a normal weapon between panzer shots) but faster speed. I had trouble shooting down a tank from some distance. It wasn't really hard but people are just sending rockets everywhere, creating chaos, coz of recharge time - you can send all the rockets in minute.

hmmm i was also wondering with some players that panzer recharge time. is there happened something or is it just my imagination, because i really think it is faster than before :?

otherwise, i think settings are nice. in some maps rifles are bit disturbing as a medic, but as a engineer i realy like them. before i didn't like HW's but now, when i have made better friendship with them, i like to be soldier sometimes :) usually problem isn't in weapon it is in user. if we all just watch where we shoot (sorry i don't do that everytime :oops: ) all will be fine :)

After 1st rocket is shot, it takes 3 seconds to shoot another with full bar.

omg u r talking olny about medics that if panza will be off rambo medics will be ultimate killers but if u don;t know there are 3 more classes (i won;t write sold coz he is using panza ofc) field,covert and eng , eng has got riflenades so he is good at close and long distance but field and covert ... if u choose field u just camp and throw air coz everytime u try to get normal kill some HW just kill u. covert nearly same i think there shoudl be maximum number of medics (about 4-6) 1 less rilfle for eng and maybe sth with panza if it must stay on server

Yea, right. All time, all fields re just killing by panzas, MGs and flames...

Imo u re overeacting a bit. Im playing all classes on ps1 and havent got any problems with HW. There re only 1 panzer and flamethrower per team. Is it so much? Don't try to write that coverts and fields re unplayable and they got only pwned by HW cuz it's just not true. Panzer will stay as Bowy already said. Agree that maybe changin reacharge/speed value could be a nice try, but if u ask me - it could also stay as it is at the moment.

PPl always gonna argue about Heavy Weapons. But hey, this aspect is also fun for others. Let them try it. It is limited to 1 weapon per team while u got 20 players in each. Can't u stand it?

Then Enable panzer when there more then 10 people in a team. For me it is only the covy part of the game, Disuigsing i mean, when ur disguised u dont have 1 panzer and 3 rifles against u, but 2 panzer and 6 rifles because people cant aim on ps1 and shoot rifles, it doesnt matter there teammates in their way

Hello,

The problem in current panzer is that people are either spamming panzer rockets from hiding as I said, into paths where enemies could be, or they do kamikaze panza (fun, but not for victims who get frustrated coz of kamikazes), because rocket is too slow for aiming any target beyond 20 meters - enemy has to be either stupid or turned back to rocket though not seeing it, to be hit. Chances are really low, so kamikaze panza becomes much more worthy than trying to hit the target normally, which is equal to winning a 40-million lottery.

The rifle nades are far more annoying, there are 3 per team + often I see MEDICS picking up rifle and shooting nades everywhere. These rifle nades are much faster (about 5 times a panzer rocket) and do instant kill when near enemy. You have to do something with it coz not only medics pick up these weapons.

Ps1 got almost all day 25+ people 8)

Plus, I can't agree with that double risk. Dunno if it's even technically possible.

Anyway, Panzer is a part of Enemy Territory, which gives a lot of fun to many people. That's why it's gonna stay at PS1. It's all about getting a right balance on server and in my opinion on PS1 actual settings got it. U won't eliminate every stupid tk in a place where 40 players re raping each other. From experience i also know that there is no such compromise that will suit every1.


... so kamikaze panza becomes much more worthy than trying to hit the target normally...


And that is an argument. Changing speed of rocket an lowering the reacharge could be a nice try. However, kamikaze always will happen.

but people who are doing kamikaze without trying to survive rnt fair players, i think such people dont deserve to play with panzer in ps1. I call 2 names for this: Rur and Mr.Waldus r doing this allday long

I already explained why this happens, but Miszczu is right, it will always happen - but we can decrease chance of that happening... I'm also doing this when I've got panzer (not always)
, at least until rocket speed increases. Sometimes I get anti-heavy MG rocket kills but that is rare and happens only on some maps like Minas Tirith.

As I said, recharge is not worth the rocket speed. I don't need to shoot with panzer like if I had some heavy machine gun. I doubt you do.

Please, also consider reducing number of Rifles with nades for engineers from 3 to 2. It is currently garbage coz of multiple pickup for all classes - soldiers and medics (mainly) are taking Rifles from dead engineers, thus creating a massive chaos with rifle nades flying everywhere and TKing everyone. That's right, on Minas Tirith last time yesterday, from 13 TKs on me, 9 (n-i-n-e) were from Rifle nades. People either don't know how to shoot with them or there are too many Rifles with nades around - 3 engineers with 3 rifles plus about 2 people who picked these up from the ground - soldiers, field ops, medics, covert ops... Everyone coz everyone can pickup Rifles. That gives you 5 Rifles for 20 people team. 5 Rifles, whom nades do instant kills and mass effect/chaos (incase you confuse with the game 8) ). Added up, it annoys many people. Plain and simple. It may be worth (but I don't know if that will work or is it possible) to prevent other classes than Covert Ops and Soldiers pick up other classes weapons - okay, soldier is soldier so I think he could stand any weapon, while Covert Ops need them for disguise and easier infiltration.

Smadje , i realy have better to do than enable/disable panzer every time :wink: . Same for "kamikaze" panzers, how you want me to teach players what is fair or not? it s their gameplay style, exactly like some Rambo medics who only cares about skills and kills :wink: . We all have some not realy fair moments when we play, that s the fact and no one is perfect in this way. As long as they don t break any of our servers rules, i can t warn them for how they play.

Now about the panzer, i will again repeat that there is no chance to see it totaly disabled in the server, the PF is setted with a low shoot and a bit more rapid reload. I can change it to the contrary but it will also not be a solution to those who hate the panzer :wink: , so you have to handle it.

Okay Bowdown, at least I would reduce kamikaze panza if you would sacrifice reload for speed. I think it is better.

However, we need a conclusion about Rifle nades too. How about them?

thats true u cant warn them for how they play but u can warn to tk, most kamikaze panzers do tk all time

Yep Immortal , but once again there is a huge difference between accidental team kills and intentional ones, don t you think? But indeed , if i notice that the player realy go to kill without any concideration for his teamates, he will surly have a warn to be more careful about or changin the weapon.
