hi guys,,
when i played today...
saw something strange !
the player: "Kenny42" wos a coverd'ops
i speced him... and i saw he wos trowing smoke bombs !
but the strange thing was... he stil was shooting and killing tru his own smoke i made a demo but im stil not 100% sure sow... watch this pls:

Hm, i dont think he's cheating. He only shot "random" - sometimes he even didnt hit anything. And mostly he only shot on bodies, no headshots.

Too less for a proof...

Btw: Next time, just make a record (/startrecord and /stoprecord in console). Did you record this movie with your mobile phone?

Hm, pherhaps because you wont get any RS points with a small demo-file.

Sry, if i hardly can see a crosshair, i never would ban somebody regarding that type of video.

Maybe he plays with a better/other config than you (e.g. quite high brigthness or less effects) and he see's the enemies better. But even with your config, i would stay with my opinion (= no cheat).

Well, we all have to be honest, it s hard to see something clear and also harder to see cheats , anyway this dude is already speced by me in game He s clean.


Ps: To do a demo , just push F12 and when you want to end the demo open console and type : /stoprecord. The demo will be saved in your ET directory (in NQ folder/demos).

I only know that there is a possibility to disable the covop smoke with an external app (or maybe also within config). But this is clearly a cheat (at least not welcome at all).

You can disable the smoke (wolfparticles) from vehicles, explosions and so on - but then you also dont see the smoke from arty.

Well, imho everbody shouldn't change anything of these and play with default settings...

And how you call the use of a script or whatever (external from the usual game settings) that give you an advantage against enemies??

Script, not a programme. It just changes some screen settings so you can see through smoke. Not really clearly, but good enough to see enemies.

Not a cheat imo
