problem with ET & 2,6B

Hi

I have a problem that I can't play on 2,6B... I played in 2,55 & 2,56... But then I connect to patch 2,6B and connect to a server it says...

Theres wasn't a problem before I delet it and re-installed ET... My config crashed the screen so I needed to delet it and re-install it...

Then I connect to a 2,6B server it says that...

ERROR : Couldn't load an official pak file; verify your installantion and make sure it has been udated to the lastest verison...

Any Help :cry:

dowload pbsetup and try update manualy u patch

try to install 2.60 first then 2.60b maybe work asswell or what warren told pb

I aldreay have that program... Its says Add game... I open Browser -> Folders -> Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory....

The point is that I can't find any file... only folders... nothing else... only Dokument C/D ect... only these things...

I have a patch changer so I dunno what you mean... PACK_ET_VERSION_CHANGER
if you know that program... You can change from any patch to patch...

Its maybe becouse I download it from an very old weebsite...

The guys who added it its from 2005... Its clean & save patch... I mean its an old added ???... Gonna try to download ET from X-fire and looks if its help...

Still nothing happened... I update the Punkbuster... And I run patch 2,6B

Then I connect...

awating Gamestate and then the ERORR comes...

I re-installed ET 2 times for now and still wont work... -.-'

Like Evil said above; there are 2 updates you need to install.

1- 2.60 [download]

2- 2.60b [download] (if you use Windows > copy the .exe files from the 'win32' folder in the zip to your installation folder and overwrite the existing files)

Make sure you install them in that order.

I would advice to stay away from servers running 2.55 & 2.56, those type of servers are real cheat magnets cause of the bugs in them..

Punkbuster doesn't have a lot to do with this error, especially not with a message like;
