cant connect

well my problem is that i cant connect...
first i have enabled punkbuster so that is not problem...

well when i connect it normaly download map and server etc...
when i have got to server my lag-o-meter is almost fully red and i cant move or do anything...
then just my computer say "we have to close program etexe..."
any tips or helps or commands what would fix problem?? please...

ill give huge beer for that who help me

Well im not exactly sure what's causing it

- Did you install or upgrade anything just recently?
- Do you have this problem on both punkbuster disabled (PS1, PS3) and enabled (PS2, PS5) servers?
- Do you have this problem with other mods (etpub, jaymod)?

You just have to rule out as much as possible.

P.s. You didn't set /pmove_fixed 1 did you?

well today/yesterday i was running my firewall program and ccleaner...
i have few other server than ps 5
(both was pb protected too...)

i ddnt set pmove...im going to try other mods and non pb seervers now...

so i looked my punkbuster folder and saw that there is only PnkBstrB
should i have PnkBstrA too ??
if yes i think i have found problem...
say where do i get it...

(and thanks thom my firewall was blocked some et files too...but now those are allowed

)

No, thats okay

Like Thom said, there are probably still some things you need to change in your firewall.

- Download PBSVC from Evenbalance.
- Start the program (PBSVC)
- Don't hit 'next' but click on the button 'Test Services'
- Punkbuster will run a system check
- If everything comes back green you're good to go
- But in your situation it probably comes back with a couple of red lines

still nothing...

here is few things i have tried...

1st: i reinstalled ET twice. that allowed me to play about 5min before same start again...
2nd: i allowed some PB files on firewall...
3rd: i search from PB site tips or help to my problem...
4th: i know that problem file is pbcl.dll (i think so...)

i would be very gladly if i get it working...
