Server Language

Hello all peoples,

I don't like the idea that PS1 has got two languages: German and English. Maybe other servers are having this too. My explanation to agree only one language: A lot of people don't speak German good as well. More people are speaking English. You can follow the coversations better in English than in German; my opinion. And for peoples who have problems with English is the chance small that they speak German unless them Germany ends up.

So vote and we'll see. And post your opinion :wink:

hm u mean now only the ps #1 server with that vote or u talk about all servers (cuz it's posted in ET-Talk)?

mh i can understand that problem, cuz when no german member / admin is there, they maybe talk much strange stuff and u have no idea, but i speak german so i must vote for both languages

I totaly agree with zombie...I voted for the english only (it's turn on ps#5 too)
Because i juste speak french english and spanish so when i see gamers speaking polish or german and where i can quote the name "Xander" in the sentence i don't really like that...
So i enjoy that all PS member agree with a final solution on all servers without exception !!!!

but this rule is only for the mainchat on our servers in teamchat and/or /m the players can talk thier own languages.

oma you are german sure you agree with german too
but i not
im not a german ppl...i speak good in english....if german allowed too ppl much says in german...other peeps dont understand
in PS1 we dont got much german ppl...we got many in the world (polish german hungary english USA ruskij etc etc etc)

so thats why i voted the english only

no, the rule is for the mainchat and teamchat. only fireteam and over /m u can talk in your own language.

I dont really care I can understand German as well as English but...
Since there are a lot of international regulars and admins i voted for English only.

And isnt it up to the server owner to decide which languages are allowed?
Since the server owners are Polish (Bore and Zild) i dont think they will
understand german :wink:

its hard for me to understand german (writing very difficult, reading i can understand little bit) and i think htere are to less members on ps1 who understand it good as well. Therefor i vote only english

like ice said... its for main- and teamchat

i like to stick to english only cause... well... else it gets messy

when someone doesnt understand english and you need to explain something, inform an admin online (the highest if you know who that is) and explain it in a language he/she does understand

oh and if you want something to be done about the rules, ask a highadmin to start a discussion at the adminforum... that s where rules get changed.

Yeah for a question of Unity i think its important to have only one language too.

i also vote for english only .... cuz i have some troubles with my german when i was trying to explain somethink on server :oops:

and i think english is pretty much used language ... as for u computer maniacs, ..... its computer language
