ETmaps - Zombie
Release date.
Because some guys can't wait till the release day will be posted somewhere. I'll tell it now. Release date is Saturday 8 March 2008. I don't want to delay the release date so I'll work as hard as I can. But quality first, second release date. Maybe the date will be changed (earlier) but you'll hear that.

Scripting is (almost) done. Have to add / change some new things.

Added by Allies spawn a 'pop up' with the text: "You are near Allies spawn, please leave it". This is to prevent SK, picture will come soon but photobucket is offline during maintenance.

Dark blue is the sky but there are stars, perhaps you don't see them but... I'll take a look about it If you've any other suggestions feel free to post them. It helps me and you

As I already have wrote: 8 March.
No big update last weekend, what happened? Didn't want to post something on the forums. But there is news now: I changed from snow to temperate (grass texutres instead of snow, water instead of ice etc.) There are again a lot of 'bugs' inside. These will be fixed this week. Also I build a new building and my new nice quality building which really needs to come into a Dutch map. We call it: Molen. In English it's windmill. Currently I'm creating the windmill via this nice picture:

Maybe if you've ever been in Holland you may have seen them. I'll couple this windmill with a waterpump inside a wooden building.

Ok. This weekend new pictures. Today I'm home alone so maybe I can finish lot 2 today. What is left:
-Buildings / map needs more detail
-Bug fixing
-Scripting
-Adding objective
-Texture bugs
Currently I've problems with the z, x and y axe (windmill). I want to rotate things but they're moving wrong. I suppose this will be fixed soon. My next fear: Will de map be playable with 'normal' FPS and ping. Next week is vacation, means 7 days free (not 24/7 behind pc, but longer then normal). Map will be done really soon. If I'll post pictures you'll see the progress is much further then you saw on the last pictures.

The last screenshot is powered by a nice bug in my map I'll delete if before the release. As you can see the map is almost done. Only lot 2 has to be finished with some buildings. I'll create them these days. I currently having some problems with custom models. You don't see any trees now, not a problem but will be fixed these days. What I've do to:
-adding sound to doors
-make all windows breakable
-fixing texture bugs
-adding (custom) trees
-creating interior
-fixing skybox (so you can put an airstrike / artillery in the map)
-fixing the script
-Testing
If the weather will work togheter with me (worse weather) I can finish the map Friday or sooner / later. So I've almost 1 whole week to test the map, fixing bugs etc.
